Awards

Mr. Nishanian is the recipient of several medals, certificates of appreciations, and commendations from universities in Armenia and different organizations which include:

1. “St. Nersess Shnorhali Medal” from His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians.
2. “Erakhtagitutyan Medal” (The Medal of Gratitude) from the President of the Republic of  Armenia.
3. Medal of Recognition and Gratitude from the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic  of Armenia.
4. “The Ellis Island Medal of Honor”, which is an American award founded by the National Coalition of Organizations (NECO) which pays homage to the immigrant who has contributed to America and has helped his heritage by the immigrants and/or his/her children. New York, NY USA.
5. “Appreciation Medal” from Nerses Seminary, in Boston, Massachusetts.
6. “Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy” from Gavar State University in Armenia.
